Top musicians in Denver for Convention
The conclusion of the Democratic Convention in Denver could see the city's musical tradition boosted with performances by Jon Bon Jovi and the actor and singer Jennifer Hudson, of Dreamgirls fame at Invesco Field. There are also rumours that Bruce Springstein may be in town to wrap up the Convention after Barack Obama's acceptance speech.
We trust he won't be performing 'Born in the USA' which was famously, and curiously used in Ronald Reagan's campaign a generation ago as the track's darker meening is hardly a political endorsement for any leader. But then again, could it be resisted as a flag waving anthem?
